We were learning about residential schools and stuff and I found out that Catholic, Roman Catholic, Lutheran, and my own Anglican were all involoved in Residential schools that seperated people of first nation, metis, and inuit origin from their families and forced them to learn english and reject their own languages and cultures and beleifs. They were at these 'boarding' schools for ten out of twelve months of the year every year and some couldnt even go home over the summer to their families because their families lived too far away from the residential schools.

It makes me sick to know that anyone would do that to people, and how many of those children died for no reason.

Damn. Okay, so, my goal for new years was to forget the entire last year and start fresh, but that didnt actually work I mostly just succeed in forgetting almost all of that night and giving myself a killer headache the next day. I found out that the only thing that really helps is avoiding sound and light and drinking an athletic drink like Gatorade or however u spell it.

I think I might have talked to some people on msn but I dont remember what I said or who i talked to, and I am pretty sure I sang kareoke drunk, and kicked ass. My brother told me that, though.

My Review of the Twilight Movie...

A MAJOR let down.  Their whole relationship was shortened and barely made any sense, it left out some crucial points and was murderously innacurate at some points.  However, the casting was great, Emett's actor was both fantastic and really hot, and Jasper's actor was pretty hot too. The actess who played Rosalie was spot on... Rosalie was, to put it nicely, a total bitch.  I spent more time during the movie laughing at parts that werent meant to be funny and Bella's actress was very pretty but totally mellow....and she had her mouth open all of the time like she was going to say something and then just didnt.  The actor who played Edward was a little rough for my taste, but he was so intense it was crazy. He would like stare Bella down for like a whole minute and then just say, really awkwardly, "Hi," this occurred like four times in the movie.

It gets a 2.5 out of 5.  Maybe a 3/5 tops.
